Snowboard it’s a secure sport. However it’s dangerous if you don’t practise it well. For example, if you try to jump with skis it’s possible that you fall, and your legs could bundle up and you can break your knees. It can’t happen to you if you go with a board, because you’ve got your feet tied to the same place. But you can suffer other serious injuries as well.
Last year I was in Font Romeu with Albert, who was snowboarding, Cèlia and Laura, who were skiing. Albert and I, we went out of the slope and the fixation of my board tore up when I crashed into a tree. I had to down the slope with only one foot on the board. I went with Laura and Cèlia went with me.

I hope you didn't hurt too much with your snowboard accident.
I've never stood on a snowboard, because I'm a bit afraid of it. I don't like the idea of having my feet bound immobile on the board. I've always been skiing and I enjoy a lot doing this sport, but my sister prefers snowboarding like you.
Well, I think everyone is free to choose what he likes most.
